Endangered Leatherback sea turtle hatchling runs to the sea after hatching.

How wonderful is nature? This little fellow is only minutes old. Hard to imagine he was in an egg, buried in sand, and now his instinct tells him, to do what millions of his forefathers have done, head for the sea as quick as he can. Little does he know that predators, are watching his every move, and for some bird, or fish he is a meal, before his dreams are ever realized. Still his instincts, drive him on regardless of the risk, if his species is to survive, he must make the sea. He has no one to assist him, his mother has done her bit and is long gone, and god knows where she is.

This wonderful picture, by marine biologist and famous wild life photographer Rowan Byrne illustrates the wonder of nature, how such a small turtle, instinctively knows what nature has designed for him. Just think of it, in 40/50 years, from now {if he lives} he will also be playing his part in procreation, and making it possible that man will not, hunt his kind forcing them to extinction.

Should you picture this wonderful moment in creation, consider his anxiety will he or wont he make it you will no doubt appreciate the beauty in this shot, and realise what a wonderful moment in time it captures.
